Pizza Bagels

Let’s start with a bagel!

Here I used an everything bagel but a plain, onion, or poppy seed would be great too!

Go ahead and tear some of the middle out…

Then fill that empty space with some shredded mozzarella cheese!

Now top your bagel with a couple of thinly sliced tomatoes.

Also throw a little salt and pepper on top of those tomatoes!

My boys are crazy for prosciutto so that’s what I put on next, but salami or even pepperoni would be yummy!

Drizzle a touch of olive oil on top of your bagel and place it under your broiler until everything crispy and melty.

If you have some fresh basil laying around you could top your pizza bagel with some when it comes out of the oven.

  • olive oil
  • fresh basil
  • salt and pepper to taste

    This is probably the most healthiest interpretation of the pizza bagel I’ve seen! I love this idea! Minimal, healthy, and extra yummy! :)

    Mmm. This looks super easy and tasty too! I like that you tear out some of the bread for a nice little shell.

    And I’m a huge fan of figuring out what you’re good at and doing that!
