Let’s start these cookies by first whisking together our dry ingredients!

In a bowl mix together your flour, baking soda, salt and 1/2 a cup of malted milk.

In another bowl cream together your brown sugar, white sugar and 1 cup of room temperature butter.

To your creamy butter and sugar add two eggs and 1 teaspoon of vanilla.

Now slowly combine your dry ingredients with your creamy ones!

Don’t forget to fold in the chocolate chips!

I used milk chocolate chips, but semi-sweet would have been good too!

Is it me or is trying to not eat all of the cookie dough the hardest part of baking cookies?!

Nobody will miss one spoon full…

Drop your cookie dough on a prepared baking sheet and pop them into a 375 degree oven for 10 minutes.

Not 9 or 11 minutes, just 10!!

When you take them out of the oven let them finish baking on the hot baking sheet.

I promise, your cookies will be perfectly crispy and chewy!

When your cookies have cooled, grab a pint of vanilla ice cream and put a scoop of it right in the middle of your cookie.

Now put another cookie on top of that!

The perfect treat after a day of bike riding and swimming!

Enjoy!
