First thing on the slumber party agenda was lazer tag!

After a quick game of shooting each other…

And a few slices of pizza…

The boys took over the arcade!

There they won tons…

And TONS of tickets!

They decided to pool all of their winnings together…

And after much deliberation…

And negotiation…

Everybody walked away with some sort of prize!

Back at home the boys decided to have a wrestling, gun, nerf, fight.

I barely made it out of that room alive!

Ryan decided to set up some games just in case the boys got tired of shooting, wresting and fighting…

Do boys ever get tired of shooting, wresting and fighting?

First game of the night was called Ball Face.

The object of this game was to catch as many ping pong balls as they could in their cup under a minute & Dylan did pretty great!

The next game was called Back Flip. Here the boys had to balance pencils on the back of their hand, flip them up and then try to catch them all midair.

Sounds tough but the guys did surprisingly well!

Then we made them balance dice on popsicle sticks.

Jude was able to balance all five die on his popsicle stick in less than a minute! I was totally impressed.

The last game of the night required the boys to keep two ballons in the air for as long as possible…

Your doing good Nano!

Don’t forget about the green ballon!

Seriously this is what being a parent is all about, watching your kids and their friends do goofy stuff while snapping pictures of it all. Childhood is great but parenthood is even better!

For dinner we put together a hot dog bar complete with mom’s homemade turkey chili…

And then we sang to the birthday boy.

What kind of cupcakes did he ask for? Funfetti of course!

After Ryan and I went to bed the boys took over the house…

Look out behind you!

In the morning the boys woke up to chocolate chip pancakes…

Wait a minute they never went to sleep that night so I guess technically they didn’t wake up to pancakes! After everybody wolfed down breakfast we sadly said goodbye to our guest and caught up on any sleep we might have missed the night before. We all had a wonderful time and I felt lucky to be the only girl in a house that was busting at the seams with crazy boys!

“So mom, when can we throw another slumber party?”
