Start with a bunch of mushrooms!

I used crimini this time but regular old button mushrooms would work great as well!

Slice them into fours, heat some olive oil in a pan and saute them on high heat until they start to brown.

Don’t forget to season them with a bit of salt and pepper!

When your mushrooms are nice and soft (about 5 minutes) mince 4-5 cloves of garlic and throw that in your hot pan.

If you want to throw in more garlic go right ahead because you are the boss of you….

unless your wife thinks 5 cloves is enough then you’re mostly the boss of you.

It’s more fun to be a co-boss anyways!

Once your garlic becomes fragrant in the pan (about 1 minute) add a 1 cup of white wine to your mushrooms.

Let this simmer on medium heat for a few minutes…

Then add a big handfull of fresh chopped parsley and season this all with a tad more salt and pepper!

With some crusty bread and a bottle of wine these mushroom look like the start of a perfect romantic dinner for two.

Never underestimate the power of love or garlic!
