Let’s start with one whole stick of room temperature butter.

Don’t even think about using the fake stuff. You know how I feel about fake stuff.

To your butter add a half a cup of mayo…

1 1/2 cups of mozzarella cheese …

And 1 1/2 cups of parmesan.

Did I forget to mention that this garlic bread has a lot more stuff in it than just garlic?

Speaking of garlic…

Mince 4-5 cloves tops! Any more than that you might find yourself celebrating Valentines day all by yourself.

Lastly throw in a handfull of fresh chopped parsley.

Give this mixture a good stir!

Grab a big crusty loaf of french bread…

And slice it in half.

Also go ahead a dig a bit of the middle out. This will help make room for all of the good stuff that is about to happen to this lucky loaf of bread.

Now slather all of your butter, cheese and garlic mixture onto the bread and pop it into a 350 degree oven for 15 -20 minutes…

Or unti it looks like this.

Holy smokes that looks good!

Go ahead and let this bread’s garlicky cheesiness sweep you off your feet.

That is unless your husband/wife/boyfriend/girlfriend already did!

Happy Valentines day to you and to all the ones you love.

Enjoy!

YUM! I posted a garlic bread recipe to The Yummy Bits a while back that was basically the same ingredients you use here, without the cheese… but I have to admit, I can’t believe I didn’t put cheese on mine! This looks delicious Melissa!
