Let’s start this pie by crushing up 2 cups of mini pretzel sticks in a blender or food processor…
Transfer your crushed pretzels to a bowl, then add 1 tablespoon of sugar…
And 1 stick of melted butter.
Go ahead and mix those ingredients together…
Press this pretzel mixture into a 9 inch pie plate, then bake your crust in a 350 degree oven for 10 minutes.
While our crust is baking let’s get our ganche together…
In a microwave proof bowl combine 6 ounces of dark chocolate chips and 1/2 cup of heavy cream. Pop this bowl into the microwave for 30 seconds, then stir. Keep doing this until your ganche is nice and smooth. Don’t try to hurry this up by heating your bowl of chocolate in the microwave for more than 30 seconds at a time! Chocolate burns very easily and there is nothing you can do to save burnt chocolate.
Pour your chocolate ganche into your baked pie crust, then carefully place your crust into the freezer to set.
Time to make the filling!
Whip up 2 cups of heavy cream with 2 tablespoons of powdered sugar and 1 teaspoon of vanilla until it is nice and fluffy.
In a separate bowl combine one 8 ounce package of softened cream cheese, 1/2 cup of powdered sugar, 3/4 cup of creamy peanut butter…
And 1 cup of your fresh whipped cream…
(Don’t worry, we’ll use the rest of the whipped cream in just a bit!)
Beat these ingredients until they are nice and creamy.
Remove your crust from the freezer, then pile your peanut butter filling on top of the ganche!
Place this pie back into the freezer for about 2 hours…
Then top it with the rest of your whipped cream right before dessert time!
I sprinkled some crushed pretzel pieces on top of my pie, but a few mini chocolate chips or some chocolate curls would be super good too!

- 3/4 cup creamy panut butter
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup fresh whipped cream for topping
