Let’s start with two packets of frozen acai berry. Rich in antioxidants, fiber, and omega fatty acids, these little berries pack quite a nutritional punch!
You can find these at Whole Foods or your local health food store. They come either sweetened or unsweetened.
Place your frozen acai berry packets into your blender along with…
1 ripe banana…
1/2 cup of coconut water… (fruit juices are also a great option!)
If you are using un-sweetened acai, go ahead a throw a tablespoon of honey or pure maple syrup in here! My husband also loves to add a tablespoon of coconut butter.
Blend your ingredients for a minute or two, then divided your acai blend into two bowls…
